Expert Tile and Countertop Installation for Redding Homeowners

Ceramic Designs recently wrapped up a stunning kitchen renovation that brought together natural light, handcrafted cabinetry, and bold countertop materials to create a space that’s both refined and inviting. This project was all about craftsmanship, collaboration, and letting the material choices shine—starting with the star of the show: Cambria’s Windsor Brass Satin Ridge quartz.

The Statement Stone: Cambria Windsor Brass Satin Ridge

For this kitchen, the homeowners selected Cambria’s Windsor Brass Satin Ridge, a quartz material known for its warm veining, textured finish, and subtle shimmer. The 3cm slab features a single edge detail, giving the countertops a crisp, tailored feel without distracting from the natural beauty of the stone.

A full-height backsplash was fabricated from the same material, which gives the entire space a seamless and cohesive look—especially when viewed from across the open-concept living area. The same quartz was used on the windowsill, a subtle but striking touch that visually ties the space together.

Precision Installation and a Seamless Finish

The oversized island couldn’t be fabricated from a single slab, so a seam was placed in the center. Our team worked carefully to match the movement in the quartz as cleanly as possible, and both the client and designer were thrilled with how it turned out. This kind of detail is what sets professional tile and stone contractors apart—it’s not just about making cuts, but honoring the material’s flow.

In addition to the kitchen, we also installed the same quartz on the bar counter, bringing visual continuity to the entire main living space. On the other side of the room, we installed a customer-provided tile on the fireplace, rounding out the remodel with a personal touch.

While the client acted as their own general contractor, this project was a true team effort. The custom white oak cabinetry was designed and built by Noah Martin Wood Design, and the warm-toned cabinets beautifully balance the cooler tones in the stone. Interior Designer Olga Voronkovich of Master & Main curated the finishes and pulled the entire aesthetic together.

At Ceramic Designs, we approach every remodel as a collaboration. Whether we’re fabricating quartz slabs, setting tile, or ensuring perfect cuts for a custom edge detail, our goal is always to deliver clean, long-lasting results that honor the client’s vision. This project was no exception—and we’re proud to share it.
